Privacy at Gradecairn

By Gradecairn Publications. Last updated: October 2026.

We do not collect personal information on this website. The answers you tap in the free answer check stay in your browser tab and are never sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no cookies and no ads.

Your child's answers

The free answer check runs entirely inside your browser. The answer key is part of the page itself, so marking your child's answers needs no connection to our server.

The answers you tap are kept only in the open tab. Close or reload the tab and they are gone. We never see them, and the result is never stored.

What the site does not do

We set no cookies and keep nothing in your browser's storage. The site loads no outside scripts, no tracking pixels and no ad networks, and our fonts and pictures come from our own site.

Nobody is asked for a name, an email address or a child's details. A child can use the answer check with a parent without handing over any personal information.

What our web host sees

Our site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each page request and sees the usual request details, such as the IP address and the type of browser, to deliver the page and keep the site secure. Cloudflare's own privacy policy explains how it treats that data.

We do not run a visit counter today. If we add one, we will name it on this page first, and it will count visits only, never answers.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other sites, such as Riverside Insights for facts about the CogAT. Those sites have their own privacy rules, which apply once you leave ours.

Changes and questions

If anything here changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions about privacy go to hello@gradecairn.com. If you write to us, we use your email address only to reply. To see how we check the answers in our books, read how we check every workbook, or go back to the Gradecairn home page.
